the resistance of resistor is reduced to half of its initial value.in doing so,if other parameters of the circuit remain unchanged,the heating effect in the resistor will become?​​

Heat energy generated in a resistor is given by , E=RV2

voltage is given constant. Hence E∝R1

So if we reduce the resistance to half of its value then heat generated will be doubled.
