Given That :

  • ➮ Resistance of Element (R) = 44ohm
  • ➮ Potential Difference (v) = 220v

Need To Find :

  • ➲ Current used by the Electric Heater ?

Formula Used Here :

  • V = IR [ Ohm's Law ]

________________________

Where :

  • V = Potential Difference
  • I = Current
  • R = Resistance

Putting Values in Formula :

  • ⇥ V = IR
  • ⇥ 220V = I × 44ohm
  • ⇥ 220 / 44 = I
  • Current (I) = 5Ampere

Therefore :

» Current used by electric heater is 5A.
