Given:

The resistance is R

The Voltage be V

The current be I

To find:

When resistance increase by 2 what will happen.

Solution:

The resistance is increases by 2.

R becomes 2R

According to ohm's law

V=IR

Put the above value

V=2IR

or

I=V/2R

Which means voltage will increases with the increases in resistance but the current will be half when the resistance increases.
