The Given information :-

  • Resistivity of silver = 1.60 × 10^{-6} Ω m.
  • Length of the silver wire = 10 m.
  • Area of cross section = 2 × 10^{-3} m².

We need to find :-

  • Resistance.

Formulae used :-

R = rho * l/A

Solution :-

Substituting the information,

R = 1.60 × 10^{-6} * [10/2 × 10^{-3}]

R = 160/100000000 * 10/(2/1000)

R = 16/10000000 * 10 * 1000/2

R = 16/1000000 * 1000/2

R = 16/1000 * 1/2

R = 8/1000

R = 0.008 ohm
