The rest and motion are relative .Explain with the example

Answer:

An object is said to be in motion if it changes its position with respect to time and observer.

example - if a person move from place A to place B in 2 min. then the object is said to be in motion.

when an object does not change it position. object is in rest.

example - when we see a tree it is at A position after 2 or 3 minute when we see it is only at A place that means the object is not moving or in motion it is at rest.

from the above example - we see that motion and rest both are depend upon observer and also time.
