Answer:

Rs.900

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the number of chairs be X

Let the number of tables be Y

According to the question,

8X + 5Y = 10500 —1

5X + 3Y = 6450 —2

Multiply equation 1 by 3 and equation 2 by 5

=> 24X + 15Y = 31500

25X + 15Y = 32250

_________________

-1X + 0 = -750

X = 750

putting value of X in equation 2

=> 5(750) + 3Y = 6450

3750 + 3Y = 6450

3Y = 6450 - 3750

Y = 2700/ 3

Y = 900

therefore, cost of 1 chair = Rs. 750 and cost of 1 table = Rs. 900

hope this will help
