Given :   (-4/5)(3/5)(-6/7)(5/6)

To Find : The result of which expression will best estimate the actual product

(-1)(1/4)(-1)(-1)

(-1)(1/2)(-1)(1)

(-4/2)(3/2)(-2/5)(5/2)

(-3/4)(-3/4)(-1/5)(1/2)

Solution:

(-4/5)(3/5)(-6/7)(5/6)

= (-12/25)(-5/7)

= 12/35

(-1)(1/4)(-1)(-1)  = -1/4

(-1)(1/2)(-1)(1) = 1/2

(-4/2)(3/2)(-2/5)(5/2)

=(-3)(-1)

= 3

(-3/4)(-3/4)(-1/5)(1/2)

= (9/16)(-1/10)

= -9/160

-1/4 &  -9/160 are negatives

3 is > 1

12/35 < 1

Hence 1/2  is closest to 12/35 in given options

(-1)(1/2)(-1)(1) expression will best estimate the actual product of  (-4/5)(3/5)(-6/7)(5/6)  in given options
