Given:

The magnetic moment M

The angle between each is 60°

To find:

The resultant magnetic moment

Solution:

Add first two and last two magnetic moment we get

2M, 2M

The angle on adding is 120°

So the formula of resultant magnetic moment.

M'=\sqrt{M^{2} +M^{2}+MMcos(120) }

Putting above value

M'=\sqrt{4M^{2} + 4M^{2} -4M^{2} }

M'=√4M²

M'=2M

So the resultant magnetic moment is 2M

So the option B is correct
