Answer:

Area of rhombus = 1÷2×Diagonal 1× Diagonal 2

=1÷2×6×D2= 24

=24×2÷6

=8

So 8 is the second diagonal.

Now See, there is a formula to find out the side of rhombus, when it's diagonals are given.

Formula=

4 ( A's square )= ( diagonal 1st square) + ( Diagonal 2nd )

A = side of rhombus

4(A's square )=(6×6)+(8×8)

=4(A's suare)=36+64

=4(A's square)=100

=A's square= 100÷4

= A's square =25

=A=5

So the length of the side of rhombus is 5 cm

hope this helps

Answer:

Here given is area of the rhombus which is 24sq.cm,one diagonal is 6cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

so we calculate area of the rhombus is 1/2×[product of diagonals]

let us consider other diagnol as 'x'

so 24×2/6=8cm

let us consider all four side as ABCD

it has 2 diagonals

AB²=AO²+OB²

        3²+4²

        9+16=25

so square root of 25 is 5

so other side is 5cm which is AB
