  • The right and left auricles are separated by Inter auricular septum(thin). In embryonic conditon a foraman is present on inter auricle septium known as foraman ovali but at the time of birth it is replaced by a depression known as fossa ovali.
  • and the left and the right ventricle are separated by interventricular septum.
  • The  auricle and ventricles are separated by ariculo-ventricular septum.
