Answer:

 \frac{y}{4}  -  \frac{1}{2}  =  \frac{y}{3}  + 1

The LCM Of 4,2,3 is 12

 \frac{3y - 6 = 4y + 12}{12}

Now 12 will be cancelled..

Now, 3y-6=4y+12

-6-12=4y-3y

-18=y

Answer:

solution is given below

Y/4 - 1/2 = y/3 + 1

y/4 - y/3 = 1 + 1/2

taken the lcm of 4 ans 3 is 12

3y - 4 y/12 = 3/2

by cross multiplication

6y - 8y = 36

-2y = 36

y = 36/-2

y= -18

hence your answer b is correct
