As in the Right Hand Thumb Rule, the direction of current is determined by the stretched thumb and the direction of magnetic field is determined by the fingers curling around the hand, a Corkscrew conventionally has an anticlockwise direction in which the coiled pin goes into a bottle's cork. Here, the direction of magnetic field is determined by the direction of coil going into a bottle's cork and the direction of current is the direction opposite to which the direction of the cork is pulled out. This is the Maxwell's Corkscrew Rule.
