✝️ Your Answer:

✏The right side of the mammalian heart pumps blood to the \large{ \rm{ \underline{ \red{lungs}}}}. Here it absorbs \large{ \rm{ \underline{ \red{Oxygen}}}} and is now called \large{ \rm{ \underline{ \red{Oxygenated}}}}blood. The gas \large{ \rm{ \underline{ \red{Carbon \:dioxide(CO_{2})}}}} is removed from the blood in the lungs. The blood returns to the \large{ \rm{ \underline{ \red{left}}}}side of the heart and from here it is pumped to the \large{ \rm{ \underline{ \red{body \:parts}}}}where it gives up its \large{ \rm{ \underline{ \red{Oxygen}}}}and is now called \large{ \rm{ \underline{ \red{deoxygenated}}}} blood. It passes back to the \large{ \rm{ \underline{ \red{right}}}} side of the heart in the \large{ \rm{ \underline{ \red{human\:body}}}}

How the heart functions?

According to various vessels:

The right ventricle pumps the blood to the lungs through the pulmonary artery. In the lungs, the respiratory gases got exchanges through diffusion in alveoli. The blood absorbs oxygen and gives out Carbon dioxide. The blood is now oxygenated blood. The pulmonary vein caries the oxygen rich blood to the left atrium. The blood is transferred to left ventricle through the bicuspid or mitral valve. Then left ventricle pumps this blood to different body parts through the Aorta(main artery). They body organs absorbs oxygen from the blood. The capillaries helps in exchange of gases in organs. The blood is now deoxygenated. The Vena cava carries these deoxygenated blood to the right atrium. It is transferred to the right ventricle through tricuspid valve. In this way, the systemic circulation(heart and organs) and pulmonary circulation(heart and lungs) takes place.
