Democracy can be described as the government of the people,by the people, for the people. One of the major characteristics of democracy is that citizens are entitled to rights and freedom and therefore are aware of what is expected of themselves and fro the government. The right to information can be expressed as a watchdog to democracy since one gets to know of his or her expectations in relation to state. Also ine gets to know the duties of the state to its citizens in the case of a government.
