The answer for this question is: We know about Jahandar Shah, a mughal ruler who ruled for a few months only. He was a puppet in the hands of Zulfiqar Khan. Zulfiqar Khan was a famous noble. After Jahandar Shah the next ruler was Farrukhsiyar. He was a ruler only in name. He was controlled by the Sayyid brothers- Abdullah Khan Baraha and Husain Ali Khan Baraha. Since they chose who was to be king, they were known as the king makers. Both Zulfiqar Khan and Sayyid brothers rose after the death of Aurangazeb. The nobles took advantage of the weak ruler. At this case whatever decision was taken by the nobles was agreed by the powerless rulers. The rise of Zulfikar Khan and the Sayyid brothers was a big blow to the later mughals.
