Then the RMS velocity of gas at 819°C ,C2=?

From the RMS velocity equation,

For same gas at two different temperatures, their RMS velocities are as follows:

  C1/C2=√T1/T2

  Then,  2/c2 = √ 273/1092

     ⇒  2/c2 = 0.5  

∴C2 at  819 °C=4 m/s
