Mysore was the capital of South India in the case of freedom fight before the formation of Indian National Congress the ruler of Mysore Tipu Sultan fought against the Britishers with other rulers of South India Tipu Sultan emergedhimself has The Protector of South India and made a large Army against the Britishers and fought three Battles against them Tipu Sultan and his father Haider Ali was successful into battle but in the third battle Battle of Plassey came into effect in which the Britishers were in negotiation with one of the nawabs of Tipu Sultan and that's Nawab I want to the locality of Britishers and helped them to win the third war or the battle of seringapatam in which Tipu Sultan was killed and South India came into the power of Britishers after being in the control of Britishers but the Mysore stood with the Indian National Congress in the freedom struggle and helped them all the way they could and they have revolted against the Britishers in many ways and at last gained independence 1947 and we can say Mysore was the freedom struggle capital of South India
