The life expectancy has increased due to industrial revolution, development of medical science and advancement of science and technology. So all the developed and developing countries should undertake various social legislative, reformative and welfare measures to protect the interest of the old.

Being a good citizen of the world, it becomes each and everyone's responsibility to help the senior citizens. Turning to old age is a cyclic change which everyone has to pass through. Hence, at the time when any old people requires any help, one should always help them. Generally, it is noticed that they do not get much attention which they require in that stage of their life. The young generation often tends to forget that they too will fall for the same in their future.
