Here is your answer.
Area of Roof = 25 × 15
= 375 sq.m

Area of tiles = 0.25 × 0.1
= 0.025 sq.m

Number of tiles =
 = \frac{375}{0.025} \\ \\ = \frac{375 \times 1000}{25} \\ \\ = 15000
Now Cost of Tiling is = 6.25 × 375
=Rs 2343.75

Hey Mate,

Given,

The size of the roof of the house = 25 m x 15 m

The size of the tiles = 0.25 m x 0.1 m

First, let us find the area of the roof.

Since, the roof is a rectangle

Area of the roof = Length x Breadth

Area of the roof = 25 m x 15 m

Area of the roof = 375 sq. m

Now, let us find the area of one tile.

Since, the tile is also a rectangle.

Area of the tile = Length x Breadth

Area of the tile = 0.25 m x 0.1 m

Area of the tile = 0.025 sq. m

Now, to find the number of tiles required for covering the entire roof, we will have to divide the area of the roof with the area of 1 tile.

Number of tiles = 375/0.025

Number of tiles = 15000

Now, cost of tiling per square metre = Rs. 6.25

Therefore, cost of tiling the whole roof = 6.25 x 375

Cost of tiling the whole roof = Rs. 2343.75

Therefore, 15000 tiles will be required for covering the entire roof and the cost of tiling will be Rs. 2343.75.

Hope it Helps!
