subtract 3/20 0n both sides

=2x+3/10-3/10=-5/2-3/10

=2x=(-25-3)/10

=2x=(-28/10)

=2x=(-14/5)

divide by 2 on both sides

=2/2x=(-14/5)/2

=x=(-7/5)
