To find the roots of :-

10x² - 27x + 5 = 0

◘ Factorising by middle-term splitting :-

10x² - 27x + 5 = 0

⇒10x² - 25x - 2x + 5 = 0

⇒5x(2x - 5) - 1(2x - 5) = 0

⇒(2x - 5)(5x - 1) = 0

⇒(2x - 5) = 0  or  (5x - 1) = 0

x = 5/2  or  x = 1/5

Hence, the roots of the quadratic equation are 5/2 and 1/5.
