The early revolts were not specially directed against the Tsar, or precisely against the autocracy as an institution. Among all these, the Russian revolution is one of them. The Russian revolution of 1917 was not a struggle against autocracy because the RUSSIAN AUTOCRATIC GOVERNMENT was present. Even, the russian legislative assembly, known as Duma was also present there.
