True

The S.I. unit of Displacement is metre per second (ms^-1). This is because,

Displacement = (Velocity)(Time)

By substituting the S.I. units of velocity and time, i.e., m/s and s,

s = vt = m/s × s = m.

Other S.I. units (or M.K.S. units):-

1. Mass = kg

2. Length = m

3. Speed = m/s

4. Acceleration = m/s²

5. Impulse = Ns

6. Force = N

7. Volume = m³

8. Density = kg/m³

9. Capacity = L

10. Work Done = J
