Sacred groves of the Aravalli Hills as well as the Ooty botanical garden both are aiming at the conservation of the biodiversity.
However, their approaches are a bit different.
The sacred groves cover the forest patches around the main worship places and are considered to be o very high respect and esteem by the tribal communities related to religious sanctity.
It also represents the main pristine forests and islands.
The Ooty botanical gardens, on the other hand, are enclosed and under guarded supervision where the planned growth of plantation and conservation takes place.
