therefore 7x: 8x

mother share= 7x

father share = 8x

we know that father share = 8x = 1240/ month

= 8x = 1240

x = 1240/8

= x = one thousand five hundred and eighty

therefore mothers share is

one thousand five hundred and eighty into seven

that is eleven hundred and sixty / month
