Salary of an man = Rs 600 Increased salary of a man = rs 850 so the amount of increased = 850 - 600 = Rs 250 Here the percentage increase = (250×100)/600

we get

=125/3=41

To find the percentage increase
we subtract the the increased amount from original amount - 8500-6000= 2500
Then u divide the increased amount from original amount and then multiply by 100%
2500/6000 * 100%
= 41.667 %
