monikadhankanip670s7: present salary=40,000. %increase=10% so salary in last year= present salary-10% of present salary
monikadhankanip670s7: 40,000- 10/100*40,000
monikadhankanip670s7: 40,000-4000
monikadhankanip670s7: 36000rs

The salary of a person increases by 10% every year

the present salary is 40,000 ,(selling price)

⇒salary before an year(cost pric)e  = s.p × 100- profit

                                                            =40000
×90/100

                                                               = 36000rs
