Let the salary be 100 Rs.
so the increased salary would be 100*25/100 = 25
100+25=125
New salary would be 125 Rs.
Now if we want to restore the original salary than we need to do the following steps:-
125(new salary) - 100(old salary)
=25
25/125*100
=20%
