    ⇒108y/100 - 110x/100 = 79

on substituting the values

    ⇒108y - 110(4y/7)   = 7900

    ⇒108 y- 440y/7   = 7900

    ⇒ (756y - 440y)/7 = 7900

    ⇒316y = 55300

      ⇒ y = 175

now , x/y = 4/7

       ⇒ x/175 = 4/7

       ⇒x = 4 × 175/7
