the same amount of circuit flow through the connecting wires and the bulb filament. however, it is only the filament that glows. why?​

Answer:

The resistance of electric line wires is very, very less than that of the filament of the bulb. Therefore, the current through high resistance filament produces more heat which makes it glow.
