Answer:

The no. of saplings that planted by Saravanan is 2000 and there 560 saplings are left.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

The saplings are planted at a distance of 2m 50cm in the road of length 5km by saravanan. if he has 2560 saplings,

To find:

How many saplings will be planted by him? how many saplings are left?

Solution:

Saplings are planted at every 2m 50cm = 250 cm

5 km = 5000 metres = 5000 \times 100 cm

The no of saplings planted by him = \frac{5000 \times 100}{250} = 2000

The remaining saplings = 2560 – 2000 = 560 .

Result:

The no. of saplings that planted by Saravanan is 2000 and there 560 saplings are left.
