the scale of a map is 1:5000000.what is the actual distance between two towns ,if they are 4cm apart on the map

Scale of map = 1:5000000

4cm on map = 4 × 5000000 = 20000000 cm

1 km = 1000 m

1 m = 100 cm

20000000 cm = 200 km
