for 1 cm in map , actual distance is 200000

so for 3 cm in map , distance = 200000 * 3 = 600000

babita22: it is a correct process ?

Answer: Hence, the actual distance between them is 6 km.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given that

The scale of a map is given as

1:200000

If the distance between two cities on the map = 3 cm

Then the actual distance between them will be

\frac{1}{200000}=\frac{3}{x}\\\\x=3\times 200000\\\\x=600000\ cm

Hence, the actual distance between them is 600000 cm = 6 km.
