The school is planning to add 2 new playgrounds. Each playground will be in the shape of a square that measures 32 m by 32 m. What will be the area of the​ playgrounds?

hence , In playground 1

area of square = side × side

ie.

area = 32m × 32m

area= 1024m^2

sides of other field = side of playground 1

hence,

area will be equal

i.e.

1024m^2

total area of both fields =2048....

Area of 1 square playground = side *side = 32*32= 1024 metre square .

Therefore , area of 2 square playgrounds = 2 * 1024 = 2048m*m
