You can either use the following conversation or develop similar one using ideas from it:
Student A: Hey, do you know our neighboring school has requested our school to supply 5 drinking water systems?
Student B: Really? How do you know?
Student A: Well, our class teacher told me. She called me during the break and asked me to announce in the class to the students to bring rupees 50 each.
Student B: When did you announce?
Student A: I could not announce because the class had Physical Education period just after the break. I will announce in the next period.
Student B: How much do we have to collect?
Student A: Our class has been given the responsibility to collect as much as can buy one system.
Student B: That will be requiring more money than we are contributing! It will only total rupees 2000. From where will come the rest of the amount?
Student A: I was thinking on the same issue. May be madam will give us tickets to be sold to our friends, relatives and neighbours! Whatever it is, I will love to contribute as much as I can. I will discuss it with my father if he can help more.
Student B: I will also ask my father to donate a few thousand rupees. During the hot summer drinking water systems are a must. I just wonder why the school has not installed the water systems by now.
Student A: Don’t you know the reason? That school is a charity school. It is run on donations.
Student B: Goodness gracious! I did not know it! We must help the school. We must involve many more students from our class and ask them to do as much as their families can in contributing liberally to this noble cause.
Student A: Sure, then the problem will be solved. If each student from our class request his/her family, then we can really collect enough money.
Student B: Let’s go and have a word with them. The bell for the next period has rung.
