the school of a boy from his home is 1km to the east. when he reaches back home ,he says that he traveld 2km distance but his displacement is zero. justify the your answer?

distance he had total covered 1 m of going to school nd 1 m coming back of home
distance = total distance covered
displacement:- u have covered 1 m and came back so there is no displacement hence displacement is zero
