Answer:

mode = 20

median = 10

Step-by-step explanation:

Arranging the given data in ascending order, 5, 9, 10, 12, 15, 16, 19, 20, 20, 20, 20, 23, 24, 25, 25  Mode is the observation occurred the highest number of times.  Therefore, Mode = 20 Median is the middle observation = 20  Yes, Mode and Median are same of given observation.

Answer:

Mode - 20 , Median - 20 , so both are same

Step-by-step explanation:

Mode is the number which is more frequent than others .

So , first lets find frequency of all scores given ,

Scores           Frequency

19          -                1

25         -                2

23         -                1

20         -                 4

9           -                1

15          -                1

10          -                1

5           -                1

16         -                 1

24        -                 1

12          -                1

∴ Here , the mode is 20 as it has the most frequency.

Now the median is the middle number in the set of numbers.

Here there are 15 students , so the middle one will be the 8th student score

First we need to arrange it in ascending order. And then find,

ASCENDING ORDER - 5, 9, 10, 12, 15, 16, 19, 20, 20, 20 , 20, 23, 24, 25, 25

Here 20 is the 8th number , which is the median.
