​ The screening effect of inner electrons of the nucleus causes- decrease in the ionization enthalpy. increase in the ionization enthalpy. no effect on the ionization enthalpy. increase the attraction of the nucleus for the electrons. and also give the reason along the answer.....

decrease in ionization energy....as the inner electrons screen the attractive property of nucleus and outer electron.....as a result it is easier to take out the outer electron... that's why...very simple

The magnitude of the screening effect depends upon the number of electrons the higher the number of inner electrons greater shall be the value of screening effect, and screening effect increases the ionization the value of ionization enthalpy decreases because the actual force of attraction between the nucleus and valence electron is somewhat decreased by the repulsive force acting in the opposite direction of inner electron
