the sealed packet in which food item such as chips packet is filled wiith nitrogen.how do you think that helps?

Nitrogen, unlike oxygen inhibits the growth of bacteria which lengthens the shell-life of the chips. It also prevent the chips being crushed on their way to the customer. Hope It Helps!
