So ,


a2 = a + (2 - 1 ) d

a + d = 10________(1)

Similarly ,

a + 6d = 45_________(2)


Solve equation 1 and 2

from eq 1

a = 10 - d__________(3)

Put the equatiom 3 in 2

(10-d) + 6d = 45

5d = 45 - 10
5d = 35
d = 7


Put the value of d in eq. 3


a = 10 - (7)
a = 3

a = 3 , d = 7

We need to find 10th term of AP
So n = 10

an = a + ( n - 1) d

an = 3 + ( 10 - 1)7
an = 3 + 63
an = 66

So that 10th term of AP is 66
