Therefore first term = y-x

                 Fourth term= y+x

                 Fifth term = 2y+x

Step-by-step explanation:

Fibonacci sequence: It is a sequence of numbers in which each number is the sum of the two preceding numbers. In order to complete the Fibonacci series it necessary the value of first two terms are given.

Let first term be a.

Given ,the second and third terms are x and y.

again third term = first term +second term

                           = a+x

According to the problem,

a+x=y

⇒a = y-x

Therefore first term = y-x

Then fourth term = third term + second term

                             =y+x

Then fifth term = fourth term+ third term

                         =(y+x)+y

                         =2y+x

Therefore first term = y-x

                 Fourth term= y+x

                 Fifth term = 2y+x
