The second ionisation enthalpy is larger than the first ionisation enthalpy.

After losing the one electron it attains the full filled or half filled configuration. So, second ionisation enthalpy is more than first ionisation enthalpy. It is found in Boron family which has full filled after first ionisation. In oxygen family it shows half filled configuration after first ionisation.
