The Second Mysore War was between the Kingdom of Mysore and the British East India Company. This war was started in July 1780 when Hyder Ali invaded the Carnatic. This war took 4 years to end.
This Treaty was signed between Tipu Sultan and the British East India Company on 11 March 1784. In this Treaty both sides(Tipu Sultan and the British East India Company) agreed to return the winning territories as well as the prisoners.
