Answer:

T2=a+d=2 (1)

T5=a+4d=16

so -3d=-14

d=14/3

a=-8/3by putting value of d in eqn 1

so T8=a+7d=-8/3 +7(14/3)

98-8/3

90/3 =30

The 8th term of an AP will be 30

Step-by-step explanation:

a2=a*r=2

a5=a*r^4=16

a*r^4/a*r =16/2=8

r^3=8

r=2

a=1

GP = 1,2,4,8,16,32,64,...

a8=a*r^7

=1*128=128
