➡The seeds of Second World War were sown in the treaty of Versailles. It was because the treaty was forced on Germany after her defeat in the First World war. Several harsh restrictions were imposed on Germany. She had to pay a huge war indemnity and her mineral rich areas of Saar and Rhineland was occupied by France
