The self inductance of inductor coil is 20mh. Calculate the total magnetic flux, if the corresponding current is 4 mA.

Given ,

Coefficient of self inductance or self inductance (L) = 20 mh or 2 × (10)^(-2) h

Current (I) = 4 × 10^(-3) A

We know that , the self inductance of a coil is given by

 \boxed{ \tt{L =  \frac{Φ }{I}} }

Thus ,

2 × (10)^(-2) = Φ / 4 × 10^(-3)

Φ = 8 × (10)^(-5) h-A

Therefore , the total magnetic flux is 8 × (10)^(-5) h-A
