C.P of 16 articles =Rs.48

∴C.P of 1 article =Rs.48÷16

=3

S.P of 12 articles =Rs. 48

S.P of 1 article =Rs.48÷12

=Rs.4

Gain on one article =Rs.4−Rs.3

=Rs=1

Gain %=TotalgainC.P×100

=13×100

=3313%

Answer : gain=3313%
