S.P of 15 articles = C.P of 12 articles,
then
15×S.P = 12×C.P,
C.P/S.P = 15/12,
C.P/S.P =5/4,
let
C.P =5A,
S.P=4A,
then
loss = 5A-4A=A,
hence
%loss = loss/C.P × 100,
= A/5A × 100,
= 100/5=20%
then
15×S.P = 12×C.P,
C.P/S.P = 15/12,
C.P/S.P =5/4,
let
C.P =5A,
S.P=4A,
then
loss = 5A-4A=A,
hence
%loss = loss/C.P × 100,
= A/5A × 100,
= 100/5=20%
