The total selling price of 2 chairs and 1 table together is Rs.980

Step-by-step explanation:

SP of 6 tables =SP of 16 chairs

SP of 1 table = Sp of \frac{16}{6} chairs

SP of 3 tables = SP of \frac{16}{6} \times 3=8 chairs

We are given that total selling price of 5 chairs  and 3 tables together is Rs. 2,730

So, SP of 5 chairs+Sp of 3 tables =Rs.2730

SP of 5 chairs +SP of 8 chairs = Rs.2730

Let Sp of  1 chair be x

So, 5x+8x=2730

13x=2730

x=\frac{2730}{13}

x=210

SP of 2 chairs + SP of 1 table

SP of 2 chairs + Sp of \frac{16}{6} chairs

2x+\frac{16}{6}x

2(210)+\frac{16}{6}(210)

980

Hence the total selling price of 2 chairs and 1 table together is Rs.980
