Let cp of 1 article be x

Then sp of 21 articles is 21 x

Sp of 18 article = cp of 21 article = 21x

Cp of 18 article is 18x

Gain = SP-CP

=(21-18)x

=3x

Gain percent = 3x/18x × 100 percent

= 1/6×100 percent

=100/6 percent

= 16.67% is gain percent

AnswEr :

SP × 18 = CP × 21

  • SP = 21
  • CP = 18

➟ Gain % = \large\bold{\frac{SP-CP}{CP}} × 100

➟ Gain% = \large\bold{\frac{21-18}{18}} × 100

➟ Gain% = \large\bold{\frac{3}{18}} × 100

➟ Gain% = \large\bold{\frac{1}{6}} × 100

➟ Gain% = \large\bold{\frac{1}{3}} × 50

\red{ \large \bold{Gain\% = 16 \frac{2}{3} \%}}
